Accommodation

A yurt - the traditional nomadic home of Mongolia and surrounding regions, has been widely used for thousands of years. Enjoy a high quality sleep in Hästens beds on an island in the middle of Telemark's wilderness. Each yurt is equipped with a wood burning stove and a private toilet with your bike, the restaurant and the spa/showers only a few meters away.

At Canvas Hotel, you’ll stay in luxury yurts that set a high bar for glamping standards. The tents are made in a durable canvas, and are insulated with wool.

Our Yurts are outfitted with Hästens beds with down duvets and pillows to give you the best night's sleep in quiet surroundings. There is a glass dome on the roof of the yurts so your can stargaze under the warmth of your comforter.

The tents are kept warm with wood stoves. They are easy to fire up and provide you with heat to dry your clothes and to create a cozy atmosphere.

When you wake up in the morning, we will deliver coffee to your doorstep so you wake up slowly with a brew that has been ground with a hand grinder that is close to 100 years old. Enjoy in bed or take it to enjoy by the fire and bask in the morning sun.

Transport

You need a car to get to Canvas Telemark. From the parking lot we will pick up your luggage. You can choose to either walk or bike from the parking lot to Canvas Hotel.
