Explore Lofoten by land and sea

Meeting points is at the hotel at 18:00 where our adventure begins. After settling in, we’ll come together for a delicious welcome dinner, getting to know our fellow travelers and the guide who will lead us through the journey ahead. As the evening unfolds, we’ll set off on a midnight sun hike to Reinebringen. The trail rewards us with breathtaking panoramic views of the fjords and towering peaks, all bathed in the golden glow of the Arctic’s endless daylight - an unforgettable start to our adventure.

After breakfast, we head out for an iconic hike to Ryten, offering spectacular views over the turquoise waters and white sands of Kvalvika Beach. After descending to the beach, we’ll have time to relax and soak in the natural beauty. In the afternoon, we transfer to Ballstad where we check in to our accommodation for the night and enjoy a well deserved dinner together.

Today, we tackle the hike to Himmeltinden, Lofoten’s highest peak on Vestvågøy Island, offering panoramic views of the archipelago. After descending, we transfer to Henningsvær, a charming fishing village known for its vibrant art scene and picturesque harbor. We’ll explore the town before settling into our hotel for the night. Enjoy a relaxing evening with a delicious dinner by the waterfront.

We start the day with an early morning hike to Festvågtind, where stunning views of Henningsvær and the surrounding waters await. After descending, we transfer to Kabelvåg, where we’ll visit Bellona Marine Restore to learn about their efforts to rejuvenate the local marine ecosystem. In the afternoon, we board the Norrøna Varg S/Y and set sail into the serene waters. Dinner is enjoyed onboard, and we spend the night anchored in a peaceful bay.

We begin the day sailing through the dramatic Trollfjorden, a narrow fjord surrounded by towering cliffs. After exploring the fjord, we go ashore for a hike, where we’ll have time to relax and take in the scenery. In the afternoon, we continue sailing towards Digermulen and Årsteinen, anchoring for the night in the tranquil waters near Årsteinen. Enjoy another delightful dinner onboard.

After breakfast, we head ashore for a hike to Dronningvarden, a peak offering expansive views of the surrounding islands and sea. We then sail to Svellingsflaket, a mesmerizing group of scattered islands, perfect for exploration and photography. The day concludes with a peaceful anchorage near Skrova, where we’ll share our final dinner onboard, reminiscing about the week’s adventures.

Our final day begins with a morning hike up Høgskrova, offering one last panoramic view of the Lofoten landscape. After the hike, we sail back to Kabelvåg, where our journey concludes around 12:00 noon. You can choose to catch a flight from Svolvær airport or extend your stay to continue exploring this stunning region.
