We put together the trip exactly the way you want it, and provide certified guides with extensive experience. In addition to a network of experienced ski guides around the country, we also have two permanent guides on the team. Both Petter Westgaard and Trond Olav Glimsdal are highly skilled skiers with extensive experience, both educated through NORTIND (Norwegian Ski - & Mountain Guides). This is the highest level of guiding in Norway, and the only Norwegian representative of the international mountain guide association IFMGA/IVBV/UIAGM.
Petter is a certified ski instructor through Nordtind and also has a Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Life and Nature Guiding. Having grown up in Narvik, spent years on the Sunnmøre coast, and now based in Lofoten, he knows Norway’s most iconic ski touring regions like the back of his hand. As an experienced freerider, Petter is passionate about sharing the joy of skiing, masterfully combining technical expertise with motivation and a playful approach to the mountains.
Trond Olav is a steady guy from the east side of the country, who is a certified NORTIND Mountain Guide - high mountains are his domain, whether there is snow or not. He lived for many years in Tromsø, where he was out in the mountains all year round, both in his spare time and at work as a guide. He now lives at Lillehammer and has Jotunheimen as a "neighbour". Trond Olav guides in Norway and across the globe, including legendary trips like the Haute Route from Chamonix.
Both Petter, Trond Olav and our other ski guides do guide trips throughout the winter and spring, and throughout the country. We offer both fixed departures, courses and tailor-made events.
