Torbjørn is a passionate skier and mountaineer, photographer, and guide for commercial and scientific expeditions in the polar regions. He is based in a small cabin just north of Oslo, and when he is not guiding, he works as a traditional carpenter with restoration of historic buildings. After the Arctic Nature Guide study on Svalbard, Torbjørn has been guiding trips with dog sleds, ski trips, blue ice glacier hikes, snowmobiling, kayaking and mountain hikes. He has also been working with conservation of historic bases in Antarctica. Torbjørn is an active member of the Norwegian Nature Guide Association.
