Thea Torvund Langeland
Thea works full-time at the Norrøna Adventure office, focusing on trip planning, but occasionally takes on guiding assignments. She is most in her element when she can be outdoors on ski expeditions, climbing, or peak bagging - with or without skis.
A strong and cheerful woman, Thea is a social, inspiring presence who makes every trip both fun and motivating! When she's not in the office, she quickly escapes to the mountains for climbing and trekking in the summer, or cross-country skiing and ski touring in the winter.
Thea has solid experience with long ski expeditions, and her accomplishments include traversing Svalbard both south-to-north and east-to-west. She has also summited countless high and low peaks within and outside of Norway, such as Imja Tse (Island Peak) in Nepal, and in her favorite areas: Jotunheimen, the Helgeland Coast, and Hurrungane.
Thea is originally from Drammen but now lives in Oslo. Additionally, she lived in Tromsø for one year, where she had the opportunity to become intimately familiar with the nearby mountais—whether on skis, hiking boots, or climbing shoes.
