Stian has spent the better part of the past year skiing and climbing in the mountains of Lofoten, where he also studied alpine mountaineering. 

Nowadays he works as an alpine- and ice climbing instructor. With no fixed address, he travels light teaching courses in climbing, kayaking and ski-touring, depending on the season.

Stian has been a tour guide for the Norwegian Trekking Association for several years, and his experience also comes from climbing in Vest-Asia, Africa and the French Alps.
