Sigurd has climbed on all seven continents and is one of the alpinists with the most impressive climbing resume in recent years. His achievements include several first ascents of big walls in Baffin, Canada, and the Karakoram, Pakistan, as well as numerous routes on big walls in Patagonia. Other notable peaks he has summited include Peak Lenin, Aconcagua, Alpamayo, and Mt. Kenya.
