Pål Røsrud
An experienced outdoor guide with solid professional expertise and a strong passion for nature. Pål has a background in outdoor education and pedagogy from the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences and is also a certified Mountain Guide. He also has experience as a snow avalanche observer in Trollheimen, which provides him with valuable insight and skills in assessing snow conditions and avalanche risk.
Pål is a certified Mountain Guide from Nortind, the only guide education in Norway approved by the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations - IFMGA/IVBV/UIAGM. This certification provides him with solid expertise in climbing, skiing, glacier travel, avalanche knowledge, and more, qualifying him as a certified guide for demanding and technically challenging mountain tours, both summer and winter, in Norway and internationally.
He also has several years of experience in the sports industry and has worked as a ski maker at Evi Ski, where he gained in-depth knowledge of ski equipment and how to tailor it for different conditions and skill levels. This experience has provided him with a strong practical foundation to guide and recommend the right equipment for his clients on guided tours.
Pål has worked as a guide for many years and has led numerous trips for us, including avalanche courses at Vatnahalsen, expeditions in the Himalayas, Aconcagua, and Kilimanjaro, as well as kayaking trips in Greenland and Nordic ski expeditions across Finnmarksvidda.
