Mike Holley

Mike joined the Norrøna Adventure team in 2023, bringing a deep passion for experiential education and a lifetime of global experience as an avid mountain biker, surfer, and rock climber. As a guide, he is dedicated to leading adventurers into exciting new environments while supporting their skill development and sharing the pure joy of the outdoors.

As a guide, Mike is dedicated to the core philosophy of experiential education. He is passionate about bringing people into new, exciting environments, while simultaneously supporting their personal skill development and sharing the pure joy of the outdoors. Whether he is guiding a group on a remote trek or hitting the trails as an avid mountain biker, Mike’s strong relationship with nature fuels his sense of adventure. He is deeply committed to preserving these wild spaces for future generations, and he finds true fulfillment in helping others foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.

Where did you grow up?
A little all over the world really. Both the East and West coast of the US, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and teeny little town in Norway. 

Where do you call home at the moment?
At the moment we are based in Oslo, Norway

Ride my bike and walk as often as possible.

Prioritize play!

What are your hobbies/what do you like spending  time on outside of work and the outdoor activities?
Chess, lighthouses, meditation, and hot water enthusiast

Empathy

It would have to be...indestructible knees!
