Mari Bjørgsdatter Thorsen

Mari was born and raised in Levanger, located in the Trondheimsfjord, but she has been all over the place since she was little.

Longer and shorter trips with family at a young age nurtured Mari's interest in outdoor life and challenges, leading to an exciting year in the military and an education as an Arctic Nature Guide in Svalbard. She also spent a year in Australia. On trips involving high activity levels and preferably a real challenge, Mari is not one to lag behind, but she also enjoys sitting around the campfire with good company, a freshly brewed cup of coffee, and homemade cinnamon buns. If you've been following "Kompani Lauritzen," you might have seen Mari; she's a sergeant in the series.
