Katrine Warhuus Andresen

Katrine is a skiing enthusiast and loves being in the mountains. She has traveled across the Alps and has spent many seasons skiing telemark in Chamonix.

Katrine has ridden a camel across the Gobi Desert, lived with nomads in Mongolia, sailed on Lake Baikal in Siberia, traveled the Trans-Siberian Railway, poached fish in Kazakhstan, explored the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, skied in a burka in Iran, rode through eucalyptus forests and hiked in the mountains of Ecuador, and swum with sea lions in Galapagos. She was the trekking manager for the Lohtse expedition with Sven Gangdal in 2006. Katrine has been guiding for the company since 2007, leading trips to destinations such as Corsica, Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp with Island Peak, Annapurna in Nepal, Peru, Elbrus in the Caucasus, Stok Kangri in India, Ras Dashen in Ethiopia, Jebel Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains, treks in the Sahara, hiking in the Dolomites, Georgia, Madeira, Tuscany, the Jordan Trail, and Namibia.

Where did you grow up?
In Oslo.

Where do you call home at the moment?
Oslo og Hemsedal.

Activities
Cross-country skiing, telemark skiing, alpine climbing, and sport climbing.

When did you join the Norrøna family?
In 2007.

Which Norrøna product is your favorite at the moment?
Svalbard cotton pants. 
 
What do you always bring in your backpack?
Waterproof dry bag with extra clothes.

What do you do in your daily life to reduce your CO2 footprint?
I leave the car parked during the weekdays.

Nepal<3

What is your hobbies/what do you like spending the time on outside work and the outdoor activities?
Even more ski touring, telemark, and cross-country skiing.

What is your hidden talent?
Great at going the extra mile.
