Halvor Marius Hagen
Halvor Marius is actually a trained as a bio engineer, but he thrives best in the outdoors.
Since childhood, he has led a varied outdoor life in summer and winter, with both longer and shorter trips on skis, on foot in a kayak or canoe. He has, among other things, crossed Greenland and the Northwest Passage on skis and paddled the Big Salomon River in Canada.
Where did you grow up?
Outside of Oslo, in Lørenskog.
Where do you call home at the moment?
Now I live in Rælingen.
Activities
Long Nordic backcountry ski tours, mountains in general, and wilderness adventures.
When did you join the Norrøna family?
In 2015.
Which Norrøna product is your favorite at the moment?
Trollveggen warm fleece.
What do you always bring in your backpack?
A knife.
What do you do in your daily life to reduce your CO2 footprint?
I buy quality items and repair what I have as much as possible.
What is your favorite place in the world?
My mother's farm in Kragerø.
What kind of advice would you give a 10 year old version of yourself?
Get it together!
What is your hobbies/what do you like spending the time on outside work and the outdoor activities?
Hunting and training in general are big favorites.
What is your hidden talent?
Whittling (referring to the knife in the backpack).
If you could choose a super power, what would it be and why?
To be able to speak all the languages in the world! Imagine the endless possibilities it would open up around the globe.
