An experienced and certified mountain guide, specializing in ski touring, climbing, and avalanche safety, with a strong environmental focus. Enthusiastic about local adventure and dedicated to creating memorable, safe experiences in nature.
Even is a passionate outdoors person and mountain guide, utilizing his skills to explore his surroundings to the fullest. Known for his positivity and adaptability, he welcomes the challenge of exploring, and meeting new people, aiming to inspire others to experience the beauty of Norway’s landscapes.
He first joined Norrøna Hvitserk in 2018, and with a solid foundation of education and training from Nortind (UIAGM/IFMGA international standard), Even brings deep expertise in mountaineering, avalanche safety, and first aid. Additionally, he has first aid training from both wilderness survival courses and the Norwegian Armed Forces, where he also completed Officer’s School and snow avalanche forecasting training.

Skiing (ski touring), climbing, trail biking and wing foil.

First time was in 2018, skiing across Svalbard from east coast to west coast.

What do you always carry in your backpack?
Bivy bag, snickers og ski strap!
What do you actively do in your daily life to reduce your CO2 footprint?
Working locally, using up the gear I have, and repairing it as much as possible.
What is your favorite place in the world?
Anywhere I can reach from my front door!
What advice would you give to a 10-year-old version of yourself?
Things always work out if you work hard and are friendly and flexible.
What hobbies do you enjoy outside of outdoor life?
Having fun and making memories with my family.
What is your hidden talent?
It’s so well hidden that I don’t even know it myself yet.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to remove wind when it's snowing!
