Are Aarsland Reed
Are is an outdoors man both by heart and profession. His main activities are skiing and climbing, and he is currently a NORTIND/UIAG mountain guide aspirant.
Are works as a mountain guide, with Volda and Sunnmøre on the west coast as his base. The recent years he has guided in large parts of southern Norway, alongside access technique work (industrial climbing). When he is not in the mountains, the time is used for board games, movie nights and training with family and friends!
After a bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education, Are started a master's degree in Community Planning and Management, at Volda University College. He always aspires to be the best that he can be in what he does, and his love for the outdoors - espesically climbing and skiing - made him attend the NORDTIND/UIAG education - the highest level of mountain guiding education in Norway.
