In her spare time, both short and long trips with Nordic backcountry skiing, kayaking, pack rafting, cycling or on foot are on the list. On a daily basis it is perhaps especially trail biking that she makes the most time for between all her trips. Elise also has extensive experience with sports and outdoor equipment through her many years of work in the sports industry. She is an educated outdoor and physical education teacher from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH), and has a pedagogy bachelor's degree from the University of Oslo (UiO) - special needs education. In addition she is an instructor in kajaking, trail biking, cross country and alpine skiing.

When she's not guiding, Elise works in the office with trip production and web content. She is also responsible for packing and maintaining equipment.
