It is a myth that Turtagrø is only for the fittest members of the team. We tailor an itinerary where everyone in the company can participate and enjoy themselves, whether the goal is high peaks or low shoulders.

Example of a 4-Day (Spring) Itinerary

Day 1: Departure and Informal Gathering
We can organize shared bus transport directly from your office (approx. 5.5–7 hours from Oslo, depending on the season). Upon arrival, check into your historic surroundings and round off the evening with a warm, homemade dinner in the dining room.

Day 2 and 3: Activities, Achievement, and Teambuilding
The day starts with a lovely mountain breakfast featuring fresh bread, oatmeal, and the famous "waffle tower". Afterwards, the group is divided based on preferences and experience level:

In the Mountains: For those who want to go ski touring or hiking. We collaborate with certified ski and mountain guides (NORTIND) who ensure safety and adapt the trip to the group's level.

By the Fjord: Just 20 minutes away awaits the Lusterfjord. Here, we can arrange beautiful hikes, cultural experiences, and world-class cider tasting.

After the day's adventure, everyone gathers for "Afterski" at Turtagrø before enjoying a delicious dinner. The hotel's fireplace lounge is perfect for professional presentations, inspiring talks, or simply socializing and enjoying a good atmosphere into the evening.

Day 4: Heading Home with Fully Charged Batteries
After one last good breakfast, it's time to head home. You will return with slightly tired legs, but with renewed energy, closer bonds, and memories that will last a long time.

Practical Information and Facilities
We tailor the duration of the stay to your needs, but due to the travel distance, we recommend at least 3 nights to get the maximum benefit from the trip.

Capacity: Turtagrø has up to 100 beds distributed between rooms with and without private bathrooms (a perfect mix of hotel comfort and traditional mountain lodge charm). For the extra adventurous, there is also the option of a tent camp outside, with full access to indoor facilities.

Meeting Rooms and Facilities: The hotel features a large dining room and a spacious fireplace lounge that work excellently for professional presentations, workshops, teambuilding, and banquets.

We arrange everything from transport and certified guides to cider tasting and tailored menus.

When Should You Visit?

• Winter and Early Spring (February–March): Pack your backpack for epic weekend ski tours in the mountains.
• Spring (April–May): The best of both worlds. You can enjoy fantastic skiing conditions in the high mountains, or head down to the fjord where the snow has melted for hiking, culture, and cider tasting in the lowlands.
• Autumn (August/September): Late summer and autumn in the mountains is a beautiful time, offering hiking, kayaking by the fjord, culture, and cider tasting.
