Norrøna Adventure Challenge

The Norrøna Adventure Challenge is a concept inspired by "71 Degrees North" and "Kompani Lauritzen," perfect for companies that want to bring colleagues together and boost their competitive instinct.

Forget stuffy conference rooms and mingling over lukewarm cups of coffee. Are you ready to swap the office chair for forest floor, map reading, and a healthy dose of teamwork?

The Challenge isn't just for the fastest runners or the strongest participants, but for those who can keep a cool head and work together when it counts. This is a team competition inspired by the toughest expeditions on TV, but adapted so that everyone in the company can — and must — contribute.

How does it work?
The day starts gently with a basic course in map and compass reading, for example at Sognsvann. Here you'll gain the knowledge you need to find your way. The company is then divided into teams of 3–6 people. The rest of the day is spent solving a variety of tasks to find out where the next checkpoint is located.

You'll encounter everything from logic puzzles to hands-on challenges. Along the way, you may have to take to the water in a kayak or packraft, pedal a few kilometres on a bike, or make your way on foot through the terrain. And don't be surprised if a surprise or two pops up along the way that requires you to think fast.

Practical Info
We primarily run these events in and around the Oslo forest area (Oslomarka), but for those who want a truly unique off-grid feeling, we can also host the entire event at Norrøna Canvas in Telemark. We tailor the duration and intensity to your wishes — whether it's an efficient day trip or with an overnight stay to enjoy good conversation around the campfire in the evening.

Price: Starting from a minimum of NOK 50,000 per event.

Suitable for: Small and large companies that want a day that's actually fun to talk about over lunch the following Monday.
