The Hallingdal region has become one of Norway's best destinations for mountain biking. We want to show you the secret spots that only the locals know! We have the option to use shuttles or to do more cross-country biking in order to get to the best trails Norway can offer. There are so many trails to choose from, the options are limitless! This region offers single-track, natural trails, and we will choose our route based on the level of the group and the weather each day.

For the first part of the trip, we will stay at Hallingdal Feriepark, in cozy cabins situated along the river for a peaceful and nature-based evening. You can jump right into the river after the bike ride! A great way to decompress after an adventurous day in the mountains.

After the exploration of Hallingdal, Telemark and Canvas Hotel awaits. One of the most unique accommodations in Norway, a pioneer within the glamping segment of Norway. The yurts are comfortable, and the woods offer some first-class pine needle trails- fantastic traction for your bike in a serene and stunning environment.

Day 2-3:Mountain biking in Hallingdal

We gather after breakfast to plan the day's goals. Today, we can choose trips from the top shelf. In recent years, the cycling community in Hallingdal has flourished, and this has resulted in many spectacular paths, thanks to the work volunteers have put in. We can mention famous places such as Torpo, Primhovda, Golsfjellet, the possibilities and trails are endless! The guide chooses the route according to the conditions and possibly wishes from the group. We eat lunch on tour and spend the whole day. We are planning a visit to the farm on one of the days with an element of local dishes. In the evenings we eat a 3-course meal together.

Day 4:Travel to Norrøna Canvas Telemark

After breakfast, it's time for a few well-deserved hours of rest. We get into a minibus and start the trip towards Telemark. We stop in Gautefall, and cycle into Norrøna Canvas. Here we get a taste of what awaits us in the next few days. Barnål trails and sva, and we cycle straight into the camp, where dinner and a sauna await us. How about a dip in the lake before dinner? Norrøna Canvas Telemark is located deep in the forest and cannot be reached by vehicle. At first glance, Norrøna Canvas resembles a safari lodge, isolated on a private island. During our stay we will stay in yurts equipped with a comfortable bed, wood stove and private toilet, with your bike, restaurant and spa/shower only a few meters away. We live right by the bike path, so after eating lunch, we hop on our bikes to get to know the trails and our bikes. The terrain is varied and offers the best tours for all levels. In the evening we will enjoy a dinner prepared with Norwegian ingredients, combined with an excellent drinks menu and a spectacular view of the lake, before enjoying a good night's sleep in our Hästens beds.
