Day 1: Departure and a relaxed mountain welcome
We arrange a private coach direct from your office. If you are based in Oslo, the scenic drive takes about 3.5 to 4 hours. Upon arrival, you will check into our historic surroundings and settle into the mountain atmosphere with a warm, homemade dinner in the dining hall.

Day 2: Professional insights, team building, and a gala dinner
The day kicks off with a hearty mountain breakfast. From there, the choice is yours: start indoors with a professional session in the hotel's meeting facilities, or pack your bags and head straight outdoors. After the day's excursions, we host a cozy "after-activity" gathering on the terrace before wrapping up the evening with a delicious dinner, an inspiring presentation, or a full party on the dance floor.

Day 3: An action-packed journey home for a refreshing start of the day
After one last great breakfast, it’s time to pack up. Since we are located at the gateway to Jotunheimen, we highly recommend adding a spectacular stop on the way home: whitewater rafting down the Sjoa River! If anyone is a bit tired after a late night, we guarantee this will wake them up. After an adrenaline-fueled trip down the river, we enjoy a group lunch together before finishing the final leg of the journey back to the office.

Practical Information & Facilities
You decide the duration of your stay, but given the travel time from Eastern Norway, we recommend at least 2 nights to maximize the experience.

Capacity: Bygdin has just over 100 beds, distributed across charming rooms with both private and shared bathrooms. For companies looking for a more down-to-earth, adventurous twist, we can also set up a glamping tent camp outside, with full access to all indoor facilities.
